Berthold Detection Systems is a private company located in the Black Forest in Southern Germany. We are specialized in the development, manufacturing and distribution of high performance biomedical detection systems with many years of experience in the design of instruments for the measurement of bio-and chemiluminescence.
Our staff includes mostly academically trained individuals in the field of Biology, Medicine, Engineering and Business Administration. We entertain an international network with partner companies to ensure we are up to date with the most recent technologies.
We are located in the center of the middle-sized city of Pforzheim, Germany. The city has a long tradition of fine mechanics (watches) and jewellery, as well as specialized electronics. The technical university "Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences" provides excellent scientific resources.
